We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Used Car Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our dealership.

As the Used Car Manager at Forest Lake Ford, you will play a pivotal role in establishing our dealership as a trusted source for pre-owned vehicles. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the used car department, including acquisition, pricing, sales, merchandising, and customer satisfaction. Your leadership and knowledge of the pre-owned vehicle market will drive the success of our dealership and contribute to our growth.


Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management:
    – Acquire and maintain a diverse and desirable inventory of used vehicles.
    – Establish relationships with wholesalers, auctions, and private sellers to ensure a steady supply of vehicles.
    – Monitor market trends and adjust inventory accordingly to meet customer demand.
  • Pricing Strategy:
    – Determine competitive and profitable pricing for used vehicles.
    – Conduct regular market analysis to adjust pricing as needed.
  • Sales Leadership:
    – Help build and lead a team of sales professionals, providing training and guidance.
    – Set sales goals and performance targets for the department.
    – Monitor and evaluate sales staff performance, providing coaching and feedback as necessary.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
    – Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.
    – Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications
  • Possess at least 1- year of experience in used vehicle sales and management
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using dealership management software and technology.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
