We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our dealership.

As the Finance Manager at Forest Lake Ford, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our dealership’s finance and insurance (F&I) department. You will work closely with our sales team and customers to ensure a smooth and transparent financing process while maximizing profitability for the dealership.


Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis:
    Evaluate customers’ creditworthiness and financial situations to determine appropriate financing options and interest rates.
  • Product Knowledge:
    Stay current with the latest finance and insurance products and services offered by the dealership, including extended warranties, service contracts, and other add-ons.
  • Customer Service:
    Provide exceptional customer service by explaining financing options, terms, and conditions clearly and addressing any customer questions or concerns.
  • Paperwork and Compliance: Ensure all financing paperwork is accurate, complete, and compliant with legal and regulatory requirements. Submit financing applications and contracts to lending institutions for approval.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate financing terms and interest rates with lending institutions on behalf of customers to secure the best possible financing deals.
  • Sales Collaboration:
    Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities to upsell finance and insurance products, increasing dealership revenue and profitability.
  • Profitability: Maximize dealership profitability by achieving and exceeding finance and insurance goals and targets.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
    Stay informed about and adhere to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to automotive financing and insurance. Maintain accurate records and reports related to F&I activities.

Qualifications
  • At least 1-year of experience as a Finance Manager in an automotive dealership setting.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and insurance products and services.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in finance software and computer skills.
  • Knowledge of automotive dealership software (e.g., CDK) is a plus.
  • High School diploma or equivalent
